Dear friends, employees and partners,
It is with great emotion and gratitude that we reach the end of this very special year for all of us at MZF4. Next year, we will celebrate four decades of a journey marked by overcome challenges, memorable achievements and a legacy that fills us with pride.
Our path began with the vision and determination of Italian immigrants in Brazil, who laid the foundations of a company built on family values and an entrepreneurial spirit. Over the years, we have grown together, facing obstacles and exploring new horizons.
MZF4 is an integral part of Mazzaferro Holding, a group that embraces tradition and innovation as fundamental pillars. We continuously pursue technological leadership in everything we do, driven by the determination to move forward and push boundaries.
The name MZF4 is a tribute to our patriarch, Nello Mazzaferro (who passed away 12 years ago). In its early days, the company was composed of four divisions, with division number four focused on technical products with global reach. Thus, the brand brings together the Mazzaferro family name (through the letters MZF) and the company’s areas of operation, in a modern, concise and minimalist representation.
We are proud to be the first company in Latin America certified under ISO 56002 (Innovation Management), a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous evolution. With a global footprint, MZF4 operates through three distinct business units: MZF4 Medical, MZF4 Household and MZF4 Monofilaments.
The Medical unit stands as a beacon of innovation, developing high-standard sutures for human and veterinary use, while Household produces and markets household products of outstanding quality. Monofilaments, in turn, is one of the largest producers of technical filaments in the Southern Hemisphere, serving multiple industries with a broad product portfolio.
In 2024, we celebrate 40 years of history. In the past, it was often said that “life begins at 40.” In any case, our eyes are firmly set on the future, where our sense of capability and vitality is stronger than ever. While we honor four decades of achievements, our focus remains on what lies ahead. Our motto, “Celebrating the Future,” echoes through all our efforts, reminding us that despite our strong tradition, MZF4 is always moving forward.
This celebration, therefore, is not only about the time that has passed, but above all about the next 40 years and the many lives we have touched — and will continue to touch — across generations. We thank everyone who has been part of this journey and look forward to a future filled with new achievements.
